![]() It is implied that a Creator is akin to God. As such, they cannot experience life or death. A Creator can create anything out of nothing and is beyond the boundaries of existence. Creator Creator is the highest possible level of existence, surpassing the concept of "witches" entirely. Any text written in blue can be assumed to be true unless directly refuted by a Red Truth or Golden Truth. Nothing keeps anybody from creating a Forgery of Purple Logic where Rosa is the culprit, but it will never be more than one forgery in an ocean.A style of truth. It is the epitome of what is being criticized within the whole Siege on the Golden Land part in EP8, even more so in the manga. Rosatrice destroys the tragedy between Beato and Battler, it undermines the similarity between Sayo and Ange, it eliminates all the portions that shed a horrifying and tragic light on love. Ryukishi went so far as to basically spell out everything, and while we got some wonderfully emotional, tragic, and even uplifting messages out of it, people still decide to ignore it in favour of a "there must be more hidden behind it" approach?! ![]() I think it's this that I also have the most problems with. All the value Umineko has with its amazing characters, motivations and interactions are ruined if Rosatrice is true. Rosatrice also undermines nearly all the messages Ryukishi tried to write in this story because it tells you to ignore a lot of things or dismiss them as 'Ryukishi is trolling'. Can't we discuss this theory step by step rather without one of each party forcing facts and/or opinions down each other's throats? Like step by step go through the story, collect evidence for and against the theory (both Sayotrice and Rosatrice) and compare them? Because I think that if people just pick a scene that pops into their head, we run into the problem of making a messy theory, then one from the other party start acting like dicks either out of TL DR or misunderstandings. Now I don't know if it was the Rosatrice or the Sayotrice side that were rude first, but in my honest opinion, this theory shouldn't be hated, but it is understandable that majority of fans hate those that were dicks, and they have the right to be so, but still the theory (Rosatrice or Sayotrice) shouldn't be viewed as garbage just because they don't agree with it. (I haven't re-read the whole thing yet to double check).Īnd why do I get the feeling that the hate for this theory is misguided? I get that some if not most of the Rosatrice believers may have been rude, and I can understand that people who are on the Sayotrice side would be offended yes, but it's not like the theory is attacking anyone. And I'll admit Rosatrice has some holes here and there, but so does the Sayotrice theory, as far as I know. Now I guarantee that this explanation would be viewed as utter garbage. Hence why she is able to say that she is the human culprit. The Yasu that Beato was based from on is fictional, but not necessarily magical. Beatrice could have been talking as the human that was born from the fictional Yasu theory, which may be the second layer of the story. That scene could have been as what Ange perceived it as after seeing CotGW in a subjective setting, or as the fictional character Beatrice perceived. Was there something I missed? Is there any (in)direct evidence that proves that the meta-world is NOT an alternate dimension?īut that scene takes place in a magical setting though. the portions with Featherine in it, like the interview at the building)? Or, did Maria's book that had delusions of a nine-year-old girl that as influenced by Sayo also had instructions of the meta-world? If this is the case, then wouldn't that mean that everything in the future is also POSSIBLY have written by Sayo as well (e.g. Because I find it hard to believe that a deranged person writing a series of stories (or plans if they were converted as novels by the Hachijos) or a deluded suicidal teen would just so happen to be noticed by real witches (if Bern or Lambda were real) and be eventually be talking to them in the meta-world or as the manga confirmed the witches world, which is ultimately an alternate dimension, if not a part of someone's head. ![]() ![]() If the meta-world was real, that would mean that Sayo used characters from a TV show (or novel) (Higurashi) to create the meta-story. ![]() If that is the case, then that bring another question: the meta-world. Are the games ultimately one-sided? What if Battler solved Beatrice's riddles as they play let's say EP2? Would that mean that the outcome of the games would change? Since everything is scripted, isn't it like Battler is just watching a chess game and that he isn't really controlling anything? There's this part in EP6 where Sorcerer Battler moved a chess piece but doesn't it somehow contradict the notion that everything is scripted? Unless of course the meta-world is part of the story. ![]()
